Heresy is a World of Warcraft guild that as of yet has not decided on if it will be Alliance or Horde. Formed from existing Heresy Gaming members and a handful of Euorpean and World ranked WoW players, Heresy will be a hardcore levelling and raiding guild.

Plans for the Future
Heresy will be beginning from scratch and working from the ground up, levelling together and building a community of high-end hardcore players and setting our sights on Wrath of the Lich King end game. We are aiming for steady progress, but don't aim for world or server firsts.

We move into Wrath with our guild corps mostly intact. We will conduct selective recruiting for specific classes as needed.

Standards
First and foremost, Heresy requires mature and respectful attitude from its members. As we like to have a laugh and a joke, we don't really have any taboo topics, however we will not tolerate direct attacks on any members. We also do not tolerate begging in guild chat. We encourage members to collaborate and be helpful. The guild website is a great tool for scheduling events and seeking folks to help with quests and the like. Officers also welcome feedback from guild members through personal messages or posts on the website. We do ask that website discussion be kept respectful and mature where possible.

Heresy offers three types of membership at present.

Levelling memberships are available for players that are level 70 and below and are interested in staying with Heresy long term and to eventually raid with us alongside running instances and heroics. Levelling applicants should fill out the Levelling Application.

Friends and Family memberships are available for people that have strong real-life connections to existing guild members (siblings, significant other, work colleagues and the like). F&F applicants should fill out the F&F Application.

Regular Raiders are expected to understand and abide by the raid charter and our loot policies. Applicants to the guild who want to raid must fill out the Raider Application. Heresy's raiding needs (and how well the applicant can fill them) will be the paramount consideration in determining raiding membership. All applicants will be subject to a six-week evaluation period before being admitted (or not admitted) as full members. This membership is not applicable until end-game.

In summary, at Heresy, we consider ourselves an extraordinary place to play, have fun, and accomplish great things as part of a safe, respectful team.
