“It’s been several weeks now since the fort timer survey. When are we going to see a change?”
We’ve taken the data collected from the in-game survey and compared it to our internal server statistics. Based on these factors, our decision is to “keep the enemy on their heels.
Next week we will be changing the capture timer to one hour, which is twice the amount of time it is currently set to.
Our goal in the original change was to increase the difficulty of these battles and reduce the amount of time players needed to dedicate for the event. We believe that the new timer achieves a good balance, but that doesn’t rule out future reevaluations.
We will be closely monitoring activity in the Abyss after the timer change is implemented to make sure that the battle rages on without any new negative side effects!

Hey All,
The legion is continuing to grow really well and I've decided to recruit a couple more officers to help out. I've selected two people who I believe are well respected in the Legion, play their characters well, have shown good abilities at running instances/raids and are capable of providing honest input into how the Legion is run.
So, congratulations to Teresha and Xelith.

Please use the raid planner from now on to sign up for events. You have to make a character first, then you can sign up for anything you'd like.
It's first come first serve and if you're not on time, you will be swapped out for a replacement.
The link to the raid planner is on the bar below the big AION picture.

Hi,
We've been listening to feedback and we've been looking at how best to use the Legion nights to benefit both the Legion and you.
Current Situation
The current PvP nights were meant to get people used to mass PvP in an alliance in preperation for Fortress takes and to gather AP. As fortress takes are pretty pointless at the moment we've been rifting which can be fun if the rifts up and if Elyos come out to play.
The PvE nights were meant to help those with lower levels chars and again to do things like World Bosses etc... World bosses can be fun but give very little reward, i.e. 24 players and 1/2 possible pieces of kit so it's more efficient to do a group run. Our lowest levels members are nearly all now in the 40's so Nub nights are again pointless.
Proposed Changes
The emphasis of the changes will be to give our players a choice of what to do but to still fulfil the Legion requirements.
PvE Nights
We'll drop these nights as most peeps are regularly running PvE runs anyway.
PvP Nights
All I'm really interested in is AP to move us up the Legion Ranks, I really don't care how we get AP as long as we get it. I'm going to change PvP Nights to be like this: -
Sun, Tue, Thu - AP Gathering Nights
Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat - Free Nights
What does AP Gathering Mean? All should do something that gets AP, i.e. Dredgion, Fortress Instances, DP, Group Rifting, Abyss Farming, etc... I'm trying to be flexible and listen to your concerns but if people start to take the piss I'll start doing something about it. AP farming does not stop you levelling and there really should be very few excuses for not helping out.
On occasions we may do a special legion rift night or work with other legions to take a fortress, you will be expected to attend. We will give you notice of when we intend to do these.

We now have a cross legion channel that can be used for comms between the alts legion and main legion and also for any legion we do coordinated pvp with.
/joinchannel Heresy hrsy
You need to do this each time you login unfortunately so best thing to do is create a macro with the above command in it.

We are bringing the Aion servers down at 08/01/2010 08:30 GMT (more) for maintenance.
During this maintenance we will be applying a number of fixes to the game which you may find listed here in the PowerWiki.
The maintenance is estimated to take no longer than 2 hours.
